160F agglomerated basic flux for SAW

160F agglomerated basic flux for SAW

160F is an agglomerated basic flux intended primarily for single or multipass butt and fillet welding of carbon and low alloy steel in single or multiwires applications, also in tandem e in twin-arc.
Due to its own contribution of manganese, the 160F flux, should be used with wires having lower percentages of Mn.
Very good impact values at low temperature.
Good slag removal even in root pass.
Welding Current: DC or AC, in single or multi-wire up to 1000 A.
Applications:
Offshore oil rigs, Structural steel works, Fracture critical bridge members, Ship construction, Boilers, Pressure vessels, and Tank cars. Available in 25 kgs bag

Flux Main Chemical Composition:
SiO2+TiO2=15, CaO+MgO=40, Al2O3+MnO=20, CaF2=25
Basicity Index: 3.1 ca.
